Registered with TESDA
On 30 July 2026, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority registered our AI Workplace Operations program. It is one program, one registration, 61 hours long — and this page sets out exactly what that covers, how it is assessed, and how anyone can check it for themselves.

What EBET means
EBET stands for Enterprise-Based Education and Training, the system set up by Republic Act No. 12063, signed on 7 November 2024. It lets a company train people in the way the work is actually done — in a workplace, on real tasks, against competencies TESDA has registered — instead of only in a classroom. Registration is the government's check on that arrangement: TESDA reviews the program, the competencies, the assessment plan and the provider before any of it is offered, and can look at it again while the registration stands. It is a registration, not an accreditation, and it belongs to the program named above rather than to the company at large.
How the program runs
61 hours across the five units of competency above. The 61-hour registered program includes an Entrepreneurship module, so the work you learn to do with AI can also be turned toward something of your own.
How you are assessed
Three methods, all of them human-judged. AI helps prepare the evidence notes an assessor reads; it never sets the verdict. The standard we hold ourselves to is the same one we teach: AI-assisted, human-approved.
Written knowledge test
Checks that you understand the tools, the rules and the risks before you touch live work.
Oral questioning
An assessor asks you to explain your reasoning in your own words, so the knowledge is genuinely yours.
Practical demonstration
You do the task — draft, summarise, verify — and the work itself is what gets judged.
Study in your language
Lesson text is available in 11 reading languages, so a learner can meet a hard idea in the language they think in. The official content of the program stays English; the rest are reading aids alongside it.

Finish and you receive iStart's certificate of completion for a TESDA-registered program. Your enrolment and completion are reported to TESDA through T2MIS, as the registration requires. TESDA has not yet issued a Training Regulation for AI workplace skills, so completion is certified by iStart under the registered program rather than through a National Certificate assessment — we say this plainly so nobody assumes otherwise.
Verify our registration
Please do check. A claim like this one is only worth what it can be confirmed to be, and the two numbers below are all anyone needs to confirm it.

Quote the RTP number and serial to TESDA Region VIII, or to the TESDA program registry, and ask them to confirm the registration against iStart International Inc. as the registered provider. If it is easier, write to us at info@istartinternational.com and we will send a copy of the certificate for you to check against their records.
Where to from here
Two doors: one for the person who wants to take the program, one for the school or employer who wants to bring it to their people.
For learners
EBET learners apply through the AWO Scholarship Application Assessment — a short wizard that confirms your details before enrolment. Start there, or read the full program page first.
For partners and schools
Institutions and employers can run the program with their own cohorts. iPartner is where that conversation starts, including scheduling, student lists and rosters.
